Shopper Terms & Conditions

"SWS" promises:
- To always be professional, respectful and helpful.
- To never sell, transfer or utilize any of your personal information for any reason outside of contacting you.
- To adhere to all policies and procedures that are outlined in our Shopper Guidelines.
- To provide pertinent and accurate information for all of our shops, assignments, and reports.
- To be prompt, accurate, and detailed with our Shopper Payroll.
- All contractors who exceed $600 in compensation will receive a completed 1099 form for the fiscal year and not withhold the employee portion of social security and medicare, income, or state taxes.
Agreement Details:
- A representative from “SWS” may contact you (the “Shopper”) via phone, email, text, or through a social media outlet to offer you a shop or review details of your report.
- The "Shopper" is under no obligation to accept assignments and “SWS” is under no obligation to provide assignments.
- All aspects of the assignment are confidential and the report results are solely for “SWS” and their clients.
- “SWS” is not responsible for any on or off-site incidents such as injury, theft, workman’s compensation claims, and automobile accidents.
- “SWS” may discontinue services by “Shopper” at any time and for any reason deemed appropriate.
- “Shopper” participation is not guaranteed.
"Shopper" Agrees to:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of opening an account.
- Not duplicate, disseminate, transfer, convey or post any “SWS” materials, including scheduling details, location information, instructions, report details, certifications, guides, and client information to anyone for any reason.
- Not contact “SWS” clients for any reason.
- Not create any additional or duplicate shopper accounts, falsify personal information, schedule shops on another account or have another person use your account.
- Not disclose to anyone that you are a Secret Shopper.
- The responsibility of not driving while impaired. If a shopper accepts an assignment that requires the consumption of alcohol, it is the responsibility of the shopper to refrain from driving while impaired and arrange to accompany a designated driver and/or minimize intake to ensure safety and driving legally. The shopper must not exceed the legal liquor limit at any shop and must be of legal drinking age.
- Review the Shopper Guidelines and complete the Shopper Certification(s) found on Shopmetrics/Gigspot.
- Complete each accepted assignment correctly by following the Shopper Guidelines and Visit Details to submit a valid report. Reports that are not valid and/or unable to be submitted to the client are subject to potential fines, loss of shopper fee and/or expense reimbursement.
- The responsibility for all shop expenses, including transportation. Authorized expenses are reimbursed.
- Providing complete, accurate, and true information on all reporting.
- The responsibility for reporting and paying applicable taxes.
